we
define our studio as a laboratory because architecture is art
Design
philosophy
GDA
Studio poetic architecture, always attentive to context, can be seen
as a melting pot of ideas, a meeting point of traditions and
innovations, where each project presents a challenge and at the same
time a new learning opportunity. Our philosophy reflects the belief
of changing the environment by observing and respecting the site, its
history and culture.
Competition
South America
The
proposed beach lodge will be an exclusive and sustainable retreat,
offering guests an immersive experience amidst the breathtaking
natural beauty of the South American coast. The lodge will be
strategically located to offer stunning views of the ocean, while the
design will embrace the local culture and environment.
Everything
we design is for people, no matter what the project is. The people
who ultimately live or work within our designs will always be our
most important consideration.
Proposal
for block of flats UK
Certainly,
the architecture arises from a necessity, and certainly its history
takes part in the more ancient history of the place that welcomes it.
Extension
in the New Forest – UK
Both
the necessity and the place are givens from which it is generally
impossible to escape but architecture is also born from an idea: from
a vision of places, of things, of the same needs.
It
is to discover and demonstrate our idea that we have chosen to tackle
the problem of a particular place
We
love working with the non-physical elements of architecture... the
closeness to nature, natural light, colour and the effects of natural
breeze and the sun’s warmth.
These
non-physical elements remain central to our philosophy which has been
developed so that people can get the most out of a building, be it a
place of entertainment or relaxation, a business premises or a
residential space, and in order that the building remains a special
place for every day of the year. In essence, we say that behind every
one of our designs is our wish to put people first. 'Uno
Spazio per la Gente’. A space for people.
Competitions
(commended)
Architecture
reveals the taste and aspirations of the present to all those who
walk the streets of a city and raise their eyes as they proceed on
their way.

Music Centre – Dorset – UK (competition won)
The
design philosophy must express a transformation from the already
established static, regular, classical courtyard to something that is
contemporary and integrates the structure and form of the buildings.
It must also reflect creativity and its processes.
Model for new
visitor centre - Italy
The wall encloses and delimits, but at
the same time the continuous rotations and the events that interrupt
it create complex and singular situations, favouring a visual and
conceptual continuity between inside and outside.
Projects
We
love to design as much as we love to build. As part of our approach,
we endeavour to explore a number of solutions to shape final
proposals, provide clients with alternative avenues and inspire
further developments.
